10 facts about myself :-

1) i am a forgetful person.. ooh this is bad seeing as im young.. not good at all..

2) i love to cook. i feel like an achievement when i finish cooking, it makes me all happy and warm inside. *smiles*

3) being trapped in small, confined spaces makes me very very uncomfortable. i dont like elevators or small rooms cuz once when i was small, my bedroom door got stuck and i couldnt get out (i locked the door then) i cried like mad, feeling very very terrified.. mom and dad calmed me down and tried finding the keys to unlock the door. it took quite sometime.. i kept pulling the door till terkopak pintu tu.. hish.. scary okay..

4) i am not a morning person. i get a little bit grumpy in the morning but i do enjoy the morning air.. makes me feel all calmed and peaceful..

5) i think i own alot of clothes but i dont wear em. and i keep on complaining i dont have enough clothes. lol. i think its a sickness. hukhuk.

6) i dont really enjoy shopping. *gasp* i know, i know im a girl and i should love shopping but..ughhh its like when you have the money, there's nothing for you to buy but when you're broke..thats when all the stuffs you see is like calling out your name... "aleza...buy me please..pleasee".. owhhh the agony..

7) i love reading other people's blogs.. and i love updating mine! hihi *smiless*

8) i dont own any high heels.. although my mouth waters eveytime i see a really cute pair of heels... i dont have the guts to buy em cuz i know it will hurt my precious feet.. i dont like wearing uncomfortable stuffs.. no no.. and i totally take comfort over fashion.. hehe.

9) i have overcome my fear of driving *high 5* now i just wanna drive and drivee..

10) i love the sound of my voice when i have the flu. hihi. my voice gets all scratchy :)

fried chickens

hello.

i slept at 4.30 am yesterday as i couldnt bring myself to sleep. mistakes that i made lately kept on haunting me during the night and keeping me awake. i didnt wake up in the morning, like i used to as i woke up at 12.3o pm. its 8 pm now and im not feeling any better yet.

the smell of fried chicken is calling me.. i should stop here and attend to the fried chickens..

the weather's hot.. seriously.. everytime i go out, i can feel my skin burning.. i think i could even fry an egg on my hand..

i have yet to finish my translation work. there's like a long text about mauritius for me to translate.. and ive only finished like 3 paragraphs. and it sounds so funny.. iskkkk.

my another assignment would be an essay. i have to write at least five pages about report writing. this one, i have yet to start. the book is beside me now.. but... i'll do it later. (promise!)

*must finish these assignments by thursday. must. must. must.*

johor bahru trip

so on saturday, my family and i went to johor bahru for cousin rubee's wedding.. luckily, no traffic jam! *smiles*

after the wedding, we went back to our hotel rooms and rested for a while. then off we went to danga bay's funfair~

it was soo much fun! we played bumper cars twice, played dart games and lots more! owh how fun it was.. and.. we won lots of stickers for audrene. lol. i think audrene's the big winner that day. all of the pressies went to her! hehe.

so for dinner, we stopped at a place called 'singgah selalu'. we had seafood. the highlight of the dinner would have to be the crabs and pau goreng. omg, if you happen to go to johor bahru, you have have have to try these delicious pau gorengs. omg.. they're buns.. deep fried buns where they're soo crispy outside and so soft and hot inside.. oohhh im craving for em now!

i shall be dreaming of pau goreng later... *smiles*

this family picture was taken during my brother's wedding on 25th of december 2007.

i love this picture. everyone looked so happy and just look at the two little girls sitting.. hehe. the one on the left is audrene, my niece and the one on the right (the pink one) is my little cousin sofia (they're just shy..explains the lack of smiles there. hehe)

weddings are both a joyous and an emotional event. seriously, when my sister got married (i was 16 then) i couldnt help but cry when the akad nikah was over. oh wait, i even cried at her engagement. haha. i cried at my brother's wedding too. (yes, im an emotional and sensitive person.)

my sister's wedding was also done at home, same like my brother's. the food was great, family and friends came, we took pictures.. awwww it was just so wonderful!

anyhoots, tomorrow my family and i are going to johor, for my cousin's wedding. its going to be a loong drive to johor, around 4 hours..

will be back to kl the day after cuz we're spending the night there =)

on mondays i have translation class. and boy, its the most boring class ive ever attended.

seriously.. the class starts early, at 8.30 am. everytime im in that class i feel like dozing off.. my eyes will get heavy and i couldnt stop yawning.. i feel like my head is somewhere in dreamland.. on the bed..under the comfy blankies..

and i find the subject hard too..

how hard could it be? lemme tell you. i have to translate english to bahasa malaysia, and ALL of the words have to be translated mind you. not some, but all! its so confusing and a lil bit frustrating when you couldnt find the words to put in.

i have an assignment for this subject during this holiday.. i have to actually translate a really really long text to bm.. dannggg.. i think i should start on the assignment early.. better torture myself now then later. hehe.

messy me

i am such in a lazy mood today..

my room is all messy with clothes on the floor, computer speakers are beside me with wires all tangled up.. what a messy scene!

im not usually the messy type. i have my 'messy period' whereby i get really really lazy to even fold my clothes!

but.. when my inner neat person kicks in, i'll be a robot and start to clean up my room. i'll fold my clothes really really neatly (sometimes i even colour coordinate em), perfume bottles, anything on my cabinet must be facing infront, in a straight line, pillows, the carpet must be straight, books will be placed straight and neatly in the cupboard.. yeah.. you get the idea.

and.. i seriously cant stand dust. ughhhhh soo annoying. they make your feet feel all dirty and uncomfortable.. i just hate em! so i'll quickly grab the vacuum and vacuum away! bye bye evil dust! wee~

oh golly, talking about how messy my room is makes me wanna clean right away! how neurotic am i? hihi.

i think im going to start cleaning right after my next post..

i am home finally! wee~~

thought about going back home tomorrow morning but nuril wanted to go home early (today) cuz of family matters. so, here i am in kl! :)

just had tuna sandwich a.k.a dinner. need to cut back on the food consumption cuz all i ever do at melaka is eat! i get hungry really fast at melaka. seriously! why why whyyyy???

theres food that i can only eat at melaka like chocolate waffles (i always eat em at melaka n i cant touch em when im in kl), maggi mee (instant noodles are a no-no in kl..ugh), nasi goreng ayam (this one also..ugh), tom yam, telur goreng n nasi putih (these combinations are a no no in kl..) muak! =)

im still at melaka.

in case your wondering, im at a cyber cafe right in front of my campus.. thats why im online-ing! wee.

i just finished filling in the upu online form for me to go to degree level (im still in my diploma). in the form, there's like 8 courses for you to fill in. i only filled 4 of them because i didnt want to get courses that i dont like.

so, my choices are: degree in public relations (1st choice), degree in journalism (2nd choice), degree in advertising (3rd choice) and degree in broadcasting (4th choice). i actually wanted to put public relations and journalism only but the minimum is 4. so 4 it is.

i hate filling forms like this. it makes me feel tensed cuz im so afraid of filling it up wrongly. so, i'll triple check it. i'll stare at the same question for a couple of minutes checking and rechecking my answers. i just want to be a 100% confident and sure.

anyhoots, i should be searching the internet about my assignment but i got sidetracked. heehee. gotta get back to the assignment mode!

hello melaka! :D

im going back to melaka this evening with nuril.

i shall be taking the train to kampung raja uda where nuril will be picking me up with her car and off we'll go...

and.. i wont be coming back home for a week (maybe) as my groupmates and i have to finish up an assignment.. so going back is a no-no!

tata, kuala lumpur and fellow readers. i wont be updating till i get back home cuz there's no wireless at melaka. *cries*

footballer me!

my day started really early today.

at 7.30 am to be precise.

the day before shafiq wanted me to play football with him in the morning. i was like 'uhhh okaay' and we promised to meet at the court at 8 am.

he was already there when i arrived, getting ready to play. me, with my sports attire walking sleepily towards him.

needless to say, i played football, kicking away like any typical girl. i even picked the ball up when it was rolling and rolling away..

'babbyyyyyy!!! dont pick it uuppp!! its footbaall!! mane boleh angkaat!'

'whaaattt???' innocently i smiled.

so i was running and running away (more like brisk walking, actually) and i kept on saying 'im ronaldo! weee!'

nuh uh. i wasnt being ronaldo. i was being typical lil ol' aleza. running and hardly kicking the ball (cuz i kept on missing the target).

shafiq kicked hard. kedebusshhhhhhhhh! the ball went flying up the air. me, on the other hand kept on ducking cuz i was afraid the ball might land on my head.

back when i was in high school during pendidikan jasmani (or physical ed, you might call it) a ball landed on my head. DUUUSSHH.

i went blur for a while. still thinking what happened and suddenly i realized. 'OOOOUUCHHHH!!!! WHO DID THAT???' then i saw a group of boys were playing football and somehow the ball found my head and landed on it. i was holding a frog then (i saw a frog in the drain and i took it cuz i wanted to show my friends how brave i was. haha) and.. the frog peed on my hand! 'EEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWW' nice. definitely my luck.

needless to say, eversince that incident i have a fear of flying balls.

so the 'football training' ended an hour later. i had fun, actually. at the same time, i felt healthy! its been a loong time since i last exercised, and i definitely needed it. wee~

im a such a big fan of p.ramlee. his songs are so beautiful to hear and his voice is also beautiful. when i was little, my dad and i would watch old p.ramlee movies like tiga abdul, laksamana do re mi, nujum pak belalang and others. i think ive watched all of his movies. kassim selamat pun i tengok. hihi.

it's like a routine. every tuesday night (i think), my dad and i will watch p.ramlee movies. i was 8 or 9 back then. his movies are comedies, mostly. his songs are widely known, a favourite among malaysians till today. even with his death of over 30 years, his songs still have a place in most malaysians. i know it has a place in me.

so, on june last year, shafiq, another 2 friends and i watched p.ramlee the musical season 2. i didnt get to watch the first season but my parents did and they said it was worth watching. so, i quickly booked the tickets and off we went to watch the musical at istana budaya.

p.ramlee the musical is about the loves and the life of p.ramlee. it tells the story of his life, the women he married, junaidah, norizan and saloma. each of the women has a different story with him. juniadah was tricked into marrying him, norizan, the glamourous second wife and finally, the love of his life, saloma.

the actor who played the part of p.ramlee, who is musly ramlee looks like p.ramlee. lagilah terasa sedih bila tengok cuz he looked the same.

the set they use for the theater is awesome. seriously. beautiful set, i tell you. when you watch it, you feel you're in that 60s, 70s era. not only the actors have a talent in acting but their voices..superb. i even cried when the part p.ramlee and saloma sang a syair. i can feel the intensity and i couldnt help but cry. (shafiq was beside me and he kept on consoling me. *blush*)

when the musical ended, i couldnt help but feel sad and didnt want it to end. it's like 'ala..dah habis ke?' definitely one of the best musicals ive been to :)

i shall overload my blog with uni life!

this is the entrance of my university

okay..ive started class. on mondays, i have translation class and tuesdays i have professional project. tuesday class will only be held for a month so.. i shall be having monday class ONLY. weehoo for me. come on people, wee-hoo! (ok ok not making any sense here :D)

monday class is i think, the worst cause it's 8.30 am. yeah..8.30 am. i have a hard time going to bed early (i think i suffer from semi-insomnia) so.. waking up early is definitely hard for me. and..im not a morning person.

ever since i was little, i always have a problem in sleeping early. most lil kids will always be in bed by 11 pm, me, on the other hand wont be. my eyes are somehow programmed to sleep late. really late. i'll watch tv till 1 or something than i'll go to bed. i dont think ive ever slept earlier than 11pm. if i have, it must have been im too tired. if not, late lah.

everyday i'll sleep around 2 or 3 am cuz i just cant sleep. if im at home, i'll watch tv (yes, tv is a BIG part in my life) or online and if im at melaka, i'll watch dvd or just borak2.

so.. anyway, my first translation class, nuril and i arrived late. yes late! we got the class mixed up and waited at the wrong class. when we knew the right class, both of us ran like little girls playing catch. haha. (dont want to make a bad impression, no? LOL)

the traslation lecturer looks quite young. prolly in her mid 20s. she seemed nice, hopefully she wont be strict in her marking scheme! muehehehe. ooh2 and this translation class, my class (DMC 6F) combines with DMC 6E which is one of my ex-roomie's class! wee. =)

okay, moving on to the professional project class. okay, so for this subject, we are required to conduct a research that relates to communication and media (this IS mass communication) and at first, we thought we had to follow the proses of making something like movies or books or events like that.. but apparently, we have to find issues related to communication and media.

at first, we thought making an issue about why malay movies are not popular among malaysians. but the lecturer said it was too general and wanted us to change the title. so.. after hard thinking, we've decided to create an issue about CGI (computer graphic interface) movies in malaysia. (damn, i guess i have to watch cicakman after all. UGHHHH.)

and.. for this subject, we (the word 'we' refers to everybody in the 6th semester in my course) have to organize a charity event. everything is going to be done by us. EVERYTHING. meaning, uitm is not going to give any money for this event. budgetless. gahh. meaning, we, the students would have to set aside 200 ringgit (maybe more) for this event. *screams*

200 ringgit?? ughhh. im going to be so broke. pokai laa aku. :( that day, the students (us) had a meeting between the lecturers to talk about this event and we had to choose who's the project manager and all. and every one of these commitees will have people to work under them. i dont think i want to be in the commitee just cuz im too lazy (plus the fact that i have OTHER assignments) to be in the commitee, one will have to be really commited and i dont think i can give that kind of commitment. so, i'll just be on the side, give my support and help out. (ooh, i feel like a super hero! hihi)

ahhh... im having the feeling that its going to be one hell of a busy (and tiring!) semester. but.. its going to be worth it cuz its my final semester!

wee. i cant wait! =)

im home at last :)

aah.. what fun to be having classes on monday and tuesday.. i can soo totally go home..always! :D

today is wednesday and im home! im seriously home, in the living room, in front of the tv! im soo happy! *i love going home. im such a home person*

my house at alor gajah aint that bad. although its seriously in need of a renovation (i.e. new walls, new toilet, new doors..), i have come to accept that it's going to be my second home. my home away from home.

ive started to feel comfortable there. my housemates are nice, but there's still a gap between me and them but im starting to feel comfortable with them.

anyhoots, i went to my groupmate's house and boy, their house is waaayyy better than ours! hmmpphh. new walls, new floors. bahhhh amatlah berbeza dengan rumah kami yang kecik dan tua itu. grr.... :(

and.. the best part is.. right across from my groupmates' house, are my roomates' house (err.. ex roomates, technically)! YEAY! i dropped by their house and booyyyy was i happy! i really2 missed them! their house too is nicer than ours. but on a brighter note, our house has a refridgerator! muehehehe. :D

nuril, my classmate a.k.a my housemate have yet to cook. so far all we ever do is eat outside.. kinda tiring to be going out all the time to eat, no? (plus, the money keeps on flowing out.. saving lagi kalau masak sendiri!) so, we decided next week to actually cook there!

hmmm what shall we cook? wee. excitednya saya! :D

im such a sucker for love stories. ive watched this movie before but i dont really remember how the movie goes. this movie is so beautiful.. i was glued to it.. ouh, how romantic..

yeah, i watch old movies. the sound of music, vertigo, the truth about charlie, breakfast at tiffany and lagi lagi lah. lol. im such a movie buff. HIHI.
